Where are you from? Born in The Netherlands, grew up in West Orange, NJ from age 2.5
What education or training have you received? (undergraduate, postgraduate, majors, etc.) BA from Upsala College, graduate 2yr program of comic arts from The Joe Kubert School of Cartoon & Graphic Art
II. Career
What was your first job as an artist? Staff: Asst. Production Mgr. 7yrs for Marvel Comics... freelancing: Scholastic, CTW, and Marvel
What are the three biggest highlights of your career? 7yr run doing 2-page monthly educational comics for Kid City magazine (CTW). Being chosen to do the bilingual comic for CTW's multi-media National Lead Awareness campaign. Providing exclusive original Kellogg's character renderings for Garner & Nevins (Summit Marketing) for 3yrs.
What sorts of jobs interest you or do you find challenging? Comic storytelling with humor or adventure characters.
Please describe your skill set. (software, techniques, management, etc.) Hand-lettering, airbrush, pen & ink, watercolor, PhotoShop digital art.

How would you describe your style? Flexible. I adapt my style to the needs of the client.
From where do you derive inspiration? A good cup of coffee and a vivid imagination.
What are your plans for the future? To start making plans.... freelancing has been too unreliable.
