Background
I am a native of Oklahoma City and lived in San Francisco for many years. I attended the University of Central Oklahoma and the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
Career:
My first job as an illustrator was a promotion for Levi Strauss. Among the most memorable of my career would be my work with The Gap/Banana Republic, three fashion seasons in Rome with Valentino and his staff, and illustrating “Molly” for American Girl. Illustrations requiring different styles and skills are an interesting and welcomed challenge. Foremost, creating classic, realistic images for my clients has proven to be a rewarding and fulfilling pursuit throughout my career.
Personal:
Ideas and inspiration can come from anywhere; a conversation, dream, memory or perhaps a book, movie, play or magazine. My future work will continue to focus on reflecting and sustaining the golden age of illustration. |
