American Artists, a.k.a. AA Reps proudly represents: Garth Glazier
I attended Alma College from 1976 to 1980 where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and furniture design. I am married and have two lovely daughters who are both artistically talented.
I entered the commercial art business 21 years ago when I was hired as an apprentice at McNamara Associates an art studio with over 50 artists, designers, and retouchers that handled a variety of national accounts, including the automotive Big 3.
During my time at McNamara I gained experience in technical illustration. I also developed a graphic style of illustration that gave me the opportunity to create illustration for a broader range of national clients.
In 1989, I began working with American Artists on a wide range of projects with nationally known clients ranging from major toy manufacturers to publishing houses.
Since 1990 I have created technical illustrations in a variety of areas, including the medical field. There I have gained experience rendering the various systems of the human body and have applied my graphic sense to these technical subjects.
I continue to develop myself as an artist, pursuing my interest in 1930s-era art styles and such subject matter as landscapes recalling the mid-western farm and the pioneer days of the Great Plains as well as more technically oriented illustration. |
